About Maria Miller
Living the Dream
I’m living my dream! I am a Realtor in beautiful Boulder at WK Real Estate, voted Boulder County Gold’s best real estate office for seventeen consecutive years. I believe with diligence, dreams can come true. I also believe some of the most important aspects of life center around quality experiences and the people with whom we share them.
I believe my diligent work ethic, my zeal for a healthy lifestyle, and my personal experiences have taught me to work through situations and to never give up, an asset to you as my client. I truly enjoy serving others and want nothing more than strong personal relationships and satisfied clients who have great experiences finding the homes of their dreams!
Having lived in four different areas of Boulder County for the past seventeen years as an outdoor enthusiast, leader in the health club, and mother raising children fortunate to attend our amazing schools, I am fully integrated into the local community. I have two amazing boys, five years between them. During their preschool years, I became a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with several certifications including Corrective Exercise Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Today, I enjoy leading group fitness classes, cycling, snowboarding and a career in Real Estate.
My Road to Real Estate
I grew up in the Midwest. A strong work ethic with a smile is simply the way it is. In my family, a love for Real Estate has been handed down through the generations. My Grandfather was a developer, my Grandmother was a licensed real estate agent, my father was a builder and my Aunt was a real estate instructor.
Soon after studying Political Science at UW Milwaukee, I moved to Madison, Wisconsin home of the Badgers. This is the period of my life when I took an interest in becoming an Outdoor Athlete. I began Mountain Bike Racing and finished a strong third in the state for the NORBA sixteen event race series. The weekend following the series, I peddled a very muddy 40 mile, Fat Tire Festival on the infamous Birkebeiner Ski Trail in Hayward, Wisconsin. Perseverance, to say the least.
Fall had ended and Winter began. I traded in my bicycle for a snowboard. I became a Level 1 PSIA Snowboard Instructor. Mud, sweat and extreme cold must not have been enough to stop me. I soon took up an interest in Rock Climbing. It was then, that I relocated to Boulder and my road to real estate began.
I am proud to call Boulder home and delight in all that Colorado has to offer. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the local market and it’s culture, and the beauty of the mountains. I am excited to create quality experiences with friends, family, and clients as we find not just a house, but a dream home!
